Get ready for the biggest Pride in Jersey as Asbury Park takes center stage for a weekend of events and parties & a colorful beach side parade.
Jersey pride hosts a parade with real beach vibes. The parade kicks off at noon at Town Hall on the Sunday of a weekend of events and parties and sashays its way down to the festival grounds at Sunset and Ocean avenues, with an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean serving as a backdrop. Once the parade ends, the party continues all afternoon in the gay village at Sunset & Ocean with live performances, drag queens and guest acts. The village hosts several bars, food trucks and vendor booths.
The Pride Festival provides an opportunity for community groups and businesses to distribute a wide variety of information, including job opportunities, housing options, family issues, disease prevention and screening, sources of support for victims of violence and abuse, legal rights and services, and the availability of support for issues that the queer community faces. This family (and pet) friendly event also features NJ’s largest outdoor display of the Names Project’s AIDS Memorial Quilt, rides in our Family Zone, and an array of eating options at our food court.
